Our Backyard Relaxing Aesthetics

When we were thinking of the concept of a backyard, we wanted it to be the continuation of our home interior design – same color coordination: shades of brown, grey, black, beige, white and off-white.
Also we wanted vegetation in our backyard to be the canvas for the set-up. Luckily we live in Arizona, where we’ve got super bright vibrant nature colors – sky, greenery, sunsets, blooming flowers, trees and cactuses. All these we want to be the focal point in our backyard when we look outside or enjoy being outside, and the furniture and other essentials we want to be blended in, but same theme as design inside the home.
This is how we started to pick the items and ended up having this patio carpet. As we do not have a padding in the back porch, we decided to put this beige/green carpet to create a feeling of natural grass continuation. This carpet has very modern and gentle color scheme, which we appreciate a lot, and it feels highly durable, which is very important.
Then chairs came along – we wanted to stay within the certain budget, but on the other hand we wanted the chairs to be rocking and swivel. So we ended up with this set of lounge chairs and set of dining chairs.
There lounge chairs have very comfortable ergonomics, deep firm and soft enough cushions and feel very relaxing.
The swings we got recently, and I love them. I already bragged about them in my other post.
To keep clean and aesthetical look of the sitting areas I’ve got modern trash cans and couple simple storages for outdoor items to store some small stuff and the hose.
And of course we love birdwatching in our backyard – we’ve got such a variety of hummingbirds and other species. Specifically for this reason we have birdbath and bird feeders.

My Most Loved Outdoor Exterior Lights at the Moment
These outdoor lights exceeded my expectations for sure – material, details, quality, size, fit, installation, maintenance, design – immaculate! One word – one feeling – perfect;) Absolute love! Matte black metal about 13 inch height and 7 inch width with layered design and hidden bulbs create soft ambient chic lighting on the façade. We were anxious that the light will be pretty dark because the lights are just metal, but actually these lights are brighter than our older facade lights, and they are dimmable.
