To me this is the most difficult topic of all home decor and styling topics, because I hate to make the bed to begin with:) and second it is actually such a challenging task to put together really nice welcoming intriguing comfy stylish practical layered sophisticated interesting easy to maintain bedding set together… At least to me this is still a challenge. And the challenge within this challenge is to find throw pillows design and quality of which I will truly love. 

This being said, so far I settled with just couple throw pillows and quilt with couple shams that I truly love. As we have two queen beds side by side in our primary bedroom, we want this set to be light colored, not do dominate the room. So brich beige is my go to solution for this one. Love this color!

Not to break the bank, I decided to have color variations of the same quilt and shams set. And this is the base and background of the whole entire bedding palette I am still working on… 

My major goal is to keep the home modern and more towards mid-century modern. So I am very particular about the ornaments and patterns that I am incorporating throughout the home, because nowadays trendy shams and pillows are more towards farmhouse look or very modern just black and white, and both does not work for me. I want more muted and sophisticated colors in grey, brows, golds, yellows, navy… and more clean graphical patterns. And every time I come across the pillow I like, it is the last man standing, no mate:)
