Newborn Mobile Changing Station

As a first-time mom of a newborn of course I researched a lot, looked a ton of videos and got zillion advices, but nobody told me and showed the following…
So I am going to share with you couple tips and essentials which really helped me a lot especially during first couple postpartum weeks.
I will create a number of posts on this subject, because I really think they are worth sharing in details and good pics, and I wish I knew this earlier.
So number one thing for me when coming back home from the hospital was how to actually quickly react on my babies hygiene needs, especially in the night, when I was still in pain myself and could barely move.
This combo, that I created myself helped me through a lot!
I used it in my bed, as I sleep in a queen bed, and there is more than enough room for me and my baby. But baring in mind safety precautions, so that newborn should sleep separately in a certain position, so that the baby will not suffocate, I urge everyone to think twice if this will work for you, please consult with your doctor and relatives, and do not follow my blindly please.
So I used waterproof firm baby changing pad as the bottom and on top I put incline nursing pillow which wraps the baby at the bottom like cocoon.
Thus I am having a form bottom and a kind of a cocoon bed for the newborn, which has borders and anti-slippery, and protects my baby from suffocation in bed with me.
I can change the baby and feed the baby right in my bed without getting up and walking for the first postpartum week easily. This was perfect solution.
Then this combo travelled with me around the house, for example in my office, so that I can quickly react without walking far away to change the baby, and the baby can sleep right next to me, when I am working. Luckily I am mostly working from home.
Also when we travel, this combo travels with me as well.
And this changing pad I even take with me in a car, so that I have a comfortable changing place for my baby if I need to.
