Needless to say that our open space which accommodates kitchen and family room with a cozy real fireplace is a most loved place in our home where we spend most of our time. So this space always deserves the most styling and decorating attention from me:) I love to create the depth and multilayering effect by combining various shades, colors and textures, but it is super important for me the keep everything functional and declutter… declutter:) Keep the look clean and simple. This is why I always opt for more leather and hard surfaces is my furniture and decor as they are super easy to clean and maintain. My bar stools correlate with the couch, matte black vases and pendants contrast the island and create a kind of separation between the kitchen and the rest of space, white marble and wood always elevates the space, and I love to use use massive marble and wood cutting boards to spice up the kitchen but not to break the bank:) And other small details like counter wine opener, metal tissue boxes, realistic greenery, marble trays, glass with steel salt and pepper accents… God is in details:)
